specification. Built in 1863 Ross Lodge is a truly stunning Victorian detached property. Having recently been extensively restored to create a wonderful six bedroom home our job was to use dry stone walling and features to enhance this generous two acre plot. Quite a large project split into three major tasks to prepare this beautiful home for sale; a newly constructed curved retaining wall to create a smarter parking area, repairs to the gated entrance and roadside wall and a retaining wall shaped to create a sweeping driveway around two very old and beautiful yew trees.

Here we can see the beginnings of the new sweeping retaining dry stone wall designed to encircle the two gigantic yew trees.

New curved retaining wall with a cool stone carved with the names of gyppy and poacher from 100 years ago! - faithful companions, so probably dogs. The stone sets the wall of nicely.

The curved lines of this new retaining dry stone wall create a definitive boundary between the grounds, parking bays and driveway.

Burrowing animals and tree growth had de-stabalised the busy roadside drystone wall causing several gaps and a total wall collapse at the entrance. After inspection (with a little help from my daughter) our priority was to repair and finish with local animal like toppers presenting this stunning home for sale.
