project. sink in stone steps - Abbey Village

specification. I'd to widen these curb steps and rebuild the collapsing retaining wall joining together the out buildings to the main house. Our design focused on both practicality and something pleasing to the eye. What materialised, as you can see is the clever use of some vintage sink planters, a rouge boulder (found with a little help from my niece) and some vibrant planting.

DESIGN

Create simple natural connecting curves.

"It's no good asking, what kind of stone do I want," he says. "The stone I want is the one that's going to go there. It's like doing a therapeutic three-dimensional jigsaw puzzle. The type of job that's good for your soul"
